At Talksy, we strive to provide the best experience for meaningful conversations with our listeners. This policy outlines our refund and cancellation procedures for wallet top-ups and talk time credits. Please read this policy carefully before adding money to your Talksy wallet.

WALLET SYSTEM & TALK TIME

How Talksy Wallet Works

Talksy operates on a prepaid wallet system where you:

  • Add money to your Talksy wallet through secure payment methods
  • Credits are deducted from your wallet when you talk with listeners
  • You pay only for the actual talk time you use
  • Unused wallet balance remains in your account for future conversations

Talk Time Charges

When you connect with a listener on Talksy:

  • Charges are calculated per minute of conversation
  • Rates may vary based on the listener and time of day
  • You will see the rate before starting any conversation
  • Billing starts when the call connects and stops when the call ends
  • Any technical disconnections are automatically adjusted

Wallet Balance Management

Your wallet balance:

  • Does not expire and remains available for future use
  • Can be topped up anytime through the app
  • Is fully secure and protected
  • Can be checked anytime in your account settings

REFUND POLICY

General Refund Policy

Upon adding money to your Talksy wallet, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with us to purchase talk time credits. Due to the nature of our service providing immediate access to listeners, we generally have a no-refund policy. However, we may consider refund requests in specific circumstances outlined below.

Eligible Refund Scenarios

  • Accidental Top-up: If you accidentally added money to your wallet and contact us within 24 hours before using any credits
  • Technical Issues: If technical problems prevented you from using the service and we cannot resolve them within 48 hours
  • Service Disruption: If our platform is unavailable for extended periods (more than 24 consecutive hours) preventing you from using your credits
  • Billing Errors: If you were incorrectly charged due to system errors or payment processing issues
  • Listener Issues: If a listener behaves inappropriately or violates our community guidelines during your conversation
  • Call Quality Issues: If poor audio quality or technical problems significantly impact your conversation experience

Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Credits already used for completed conversations
  • Account termination due to violation of Terms of Service
  • Refund requests made more than 7 days after the wallet top-up
  • Unused credits in your wallet (these remain available for future use)
  • Dissatisfaction with conversation content (that doesn't violate our guidelines)

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, you must:

  1. Contact our support team at talksy777@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction
  2. Provide your account username/email and transaction details
  3. Clearly specify the reason for your refund request with supporting evidence
  4. Include conversation details if the issue relates to a specific interaction

All refund requests are reviewed individually, and approval is at our sole discretion. We may ask for additional details before processing any request.

PROCESSING TIMES & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Refund Request Review

We will review and respond to refund requests within 2-3 business days.

Refund Processing

If approved, refunds will be processed as follows:

  • UPI/Digital Wallets: 1-3 business days
  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Net Banking: 3-5 business days
  • App Store Purchases: Follow app store refund timelines

Dispute Resolution

If you're unsatisfied with a refund decision:

  • You can escalate the matter by replying to our support email
  • We will review escalated cases within 5 business days
  • Final decisions will be communicated via email with detailed reasoning

PAYMENT METHODS & APP STORE PURCHASES

Talksy supports multiple payment methods for wallet top-ups:

  • Direct Payment: Credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, digital wallets
  • App Store Payments: Through iOS App Store or Google Play Store billing

App Store Purchase Refunds

If you added money to your wallet through app store billing:

  • Refund policies are governed by Apple's or Google's respective refund policies
  • You must request refunds directly through the app store
  • We cannot process refunds for app store purchases directly
  • Your unused credits remain in your Talksy wallet regardless of app store refunds

Direct Payment Refunds

For direct payments made through our payment gateway:

  • Refunds are processed back to your original payment method
  • Bank transfer refunds may take 5-7 business days
  • UPI and digital wallet refunds typically process within 1-3 business days

PROMOTIONAL CREDITS & BONUSES

Talksy may occasionally offer promotional credits, welcome bonuses, or referral rewards:

  • Promotional credits cannot be refunded or converted to cash
  • Bonus credits may have expiration dates as specified in the promotion
  • You are eligible for new user bonuses only once per account
  • Promotional credits are used first before paid credits
  • Terms and conditions of specific promotions will be clearly stated

ACCOUNT TERMINATION

If your account is suspended or terminated:

  • For Terms Violations: No refund will be provided for unused wallet balance
  • At Your Request: Unused wallet balance may be refunded at our discretion, minus any applicable fees
  • Due to Our Error: Full wallet balance will be refunded
  • Fraudulent Activity: Account will be terminated with no refund eligibility

Before account deletion, you will be notified and given an opportunity to use remaining credits or request a refund for unused balance.
